This has to be the best dessert ever. I don’t have much of a sweet tooth so this is perfect for me. Simple and sweet enough for me yet so crunchy and delicious. Perfect desert for ramadan if you’re muslim like me. I made it for my nephew and he loved it so if you have kids they’ll enjoy it too! I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!!

30 Oreo Cookies
1.5 litre Vanilla Ice Cream (you can use any flavour of your choice)
50g Melted Unsalted Butter
1 Cup Whipped Cream (to make this you need one cup heavy cream, 1 tsp vanilla extract and 1 Tbs Icing sugar, whisk until stiff)
25 Grams Chopped Walnuts
Chocolate Sauce To Garnish

Place the vanilla ice cream in a large bowl to melt. Add about 15 oreo cookies to a food processor and blitz till it’s grounded. Transfer to a bowl and add the melted butter and mix. In a 8 Inch cake tin, add the cookie mixture and flatten it with your hands, spread it around properly so it’s all orotund the tin. Freeze for 10 minutes. While that’s in the freezer, your ice-cream should have melted by now. Using two tablespoons, stir the ice-cream so it’s broken down properly, add the walnuts to it. Add about 15 more cookies to a clear plastic envelope and crush using your hands or a rolling pin then add to the ice-cream. Mix it with a spoon so it’s well combined. Remove the base from the freezer and add the ice-cream mixture to it. Spread it around on the cake tin so it’s evened out properly. Freeze for 4-6 hours. Decorate with chocolate sauce, whipped cream and oreo cookies!! Bon Appétit!!!! 🙂
